Scout hasn’t eaten other people’s food in 2 years, but the bbq short ribs were just sitting there, nicely boxed up like a present, while Mommy went in to grab coffee… it all happened so fast.

Baby Kisses
“I French the baby… …and I like it.”
Rosie’s great with the baby, but I find Rosie walking past and the baby opening her mouth wide for a “puppy kiss” far more often than I like.
Plant Eater
I eat the plants – Sorry!
He wasn’t really because when we went out he destroyed the rest of the plant!
No clean up necessary
D’artagnan and Dude joined us on a trip to the art museum grounds. D’ decided to eat too much before we left and got sick in the car! He barfed in the seat, then felt better… i decided i’d clean it up when we got to the museum, but Dude decided he needed a snack and ate up all the food D’ had just barfed up!
I’m on a seafood diet
“Mama is an advocate for saving the world’s sea turtles. I am not. <3 Daisy”
For four years I’ve been blaming the maniacal annihilation of fluffy toys on her furry brother. Then I found Daisy — with the evidence. On her nose. She seems somewhat remorse, but I’m not falling for it this time.
Mommy Bought Me Antlers
I bought Monk (Left) antlers to match Coltrane’s and made the mistake of leaving them on the table.
I like eating my eye boogers.
They are delicious.
We Don’t Need No Education
LEGO is our new puppy, he is 6 months old and he makes us very happy, except when he stays home alone and finds amusing passtimes like destroying everything in his reach like his little book. the sign says: “I chewed up my book about dog education because “we don’t need no education”.

Adoptable Fridays: Rooney
Is your dog having too much fun? Woop, woop, Officer Rooney of the K-9 Fun Police will be arriving momentarily to stop it! Rooney is currently in NYC with Red Hook Dog Rescue. We adopt throughout the New England area. Rooney is a middle-aged Australian Cattle Dog/Chow cross who is great with cats and other dogs. In fact, she is much better as a 2nd dog so we’re looking for a home for her that already has a mellow dog in it… that she can occasionally herd, and generally stop from having too much fun. We think she’d do best in a home without kids, unless you really want your kids herded, which (as a mother of young children) I can say is a strangely appealing concept. Change is another thing Rooney isn’t big on, so she would do best in a quiet home without a ton of strangers coming through.
Our perfect home for Rooney is a retired person or couple in a suburban or rural environment, who have other pets and are perhaps looking for a companion for their existing medium to lower energy dog. Rooney is a lovely girl, extremely caring and devoted, and striking in her tan and white fluffy coat. She is medium sized (around 40lbs) and very easygoing…. she never actually gives Fun Tickets; you can always talk her down to a warning. Good cop!
