Moxie stole two $20 bills off the kitchen counter. Ate them. I tried to blame everyone else in the house till I was cleaning the backyard the following day. He’s a big old jerky marshmallow.

Adoptable Fridays – Daffodil
Hello. My name is Daffodil and I play dirty! I’m available for adoption through San Diego Humane Society‘s in Oceanside, CA. My favorite thing in the entire universe is getting the sillies out with my fellow canine playmates at the shelter. I will romp, run, wrestle and hop with other dogs all day. I am especially well known for slobbering all over my friends’ faces. I am a playful bundle of energy who is a big mush on the inside. In addition to play dates, I also love to snuggle with my favorite people and eat snacks. I am a very smart girl, so I will need lots of fun things to keep me entertained in my new house. I am sure there will be plenty of dog shaming opportunities in my future!
Daffodil is a 1 year, 10 month old, spayed female American Staffordshire Terrier mix. If you are interested in meeting her, please click here.

Adoptable Fridays-Hank
I bite snow shovels. I don’t care if you slip and fall. Love, Hank
Meet handsome Hank, he’s up for adoption at Alger County Animal Shelter in Munising Michigan. We get lots of snow up here in the U.P. and if we try to shovel the sidewalks while Hank is around, he grabs the the shovel and runs away with it. Hank is a 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix with a super personality.
Bertie prefers Pedometer to Dog Food
Bertie loves getting 3 plus walks a day, but he still worked in cohoots with the cat, Romeo, this morning. Romeo knocked Mama’s pedometer off her night stand, and Bert went to snacking.
Next time, on Hoarders…
Dora is . . . well, a hoarder; it probably stems from the fact that she spent quite a bit of time as a stray before we rescued her. Anyway, I followed her to her crate when she did a snatch and grab of the scissors while I was wrapping gifts to find . . . a coffee mug, the food scoop, our other dog’s bowl, and the scissors. In fact, whenever ANYTHING is missing, her crate is the first place we look.
I’m still trying to figure out why we found a knife under her bed the other night though. That’s just . . . disturbing.
Bragi Disrupts Bedtime
Perhaps this is in retaliation to the “No Dogs On the Bed When Humans Are On The Bed” rule.
Jack is a bad boy
We had put a pad in Jack’s crate for the first time. Unfortunately, our other dog had broken the zipper making the styrofoam readily accessible.
Belle, the fire dog
My people have to put wood in front of the fireplace to keep me from burning my nose on it. -Belle
My sister won’t let me get warm – Jingle
Our dogs love the fire but Belle thinks it being to her alone. She pushes Jingle away if she starts getting too close and will get so close herself that she is in danger of burning herself on the glass. She has to be pushed out of the way to add wood.
Foiled again!
I sneak into the trash to try and eat inedible things like foil & cling wrap. Then I shred them and feel NO REMORSE!
