“I barked at a sweet little girl going to a birthday party, terrifying the girl and her mother.”

I love my veggies
After mommy brought in the groceries I thought if I helped her unpack she would take my cone of shane off. But I shouldn’t of jumped out the window on the second floor and broken my paw in the first place.

Rufus is a very energetic and playful 10 month old puppy who lives in Phoenix, AX and is being fostered through Mini Mighty Mutts. He loves toys, and to play with other dogs and humans. He is not shy and loves meeting new people. He likes to sleep in dog beds or on laps. He does well on car rides too. He was originally found as a stray. Tiffany is an American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix available for adoption through A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue & Fixin’) in Cookeville, TN. She is currently housed in a rescue kennel, longing for a forever home where she will be queen of the castle. Sweet Tiffany stole the heart of a rescue worker at the shelter who suspected she might be pregnant. As the rescue worked to get her out of the shelter so she wouldn’t be euthanized a series of adventures and misadventures lead to the rescuers and veterinarian believing she was deaf. She was also diagnosed with an ear infection, and after several weeks of treatment we discovered she could hear just fine! Her super sweet temperament is unchanged though!
Adoptable Fridays – Scarlet
Scarlet (Scar to her friends) is a goofy, playful 6 month old Shar Pei mix from Magnolia, AR. She came into CCAPS with some pretty gnarly wounds on her back. They have healed but she still has the scars, but they are only on the outside. She loves people and is great with other pups. She has a silly little waddly walk and a wonderfully happy personality. She is available through Columbia County Animal Protection Society in Magnolia, AR. Here is her profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Jacob
Jacob is a Corgi/Jack Russell mix who is about 5 1/2 years old and 17 pounds. He is available through MidWest Rescue and lives near Minneapolis, MN. He is a quiet, sweet boy indoors, keeping to himself or snuggling next to his person. Outside he LOVES to chase birds and watch what is going on outside of the fence. He seems to love wearing dog clothes, almost helping you get them onto him. He LOVES going for walks and getting crazy with squeaky toys, as well as sleeping snuggled up under the covers at night. Somehow, he knows if a camera is near and ready to shoot photos, whether it be a cell phone camera OR a real camera! He will leave the vicinity when he figures this out. The only reason he stayed put for the photo is for a piece of chicken, his favorite treat (besides his morning Greenie).
Jacob would do very well with a relaxed atmosphere, no children, and no cats. He gets along with dogs, but seems to be fairly independent, preferring adult people. If you would like to find out more about Jacob, click here.
Nowhere to Sleep
He has never chewed anything, EVER! I came home to this today. His $80 Kong bed. For shame.
Notorious sock thief
Madox’s math:
Dog + dirty sock + chewing habit = self proclaimed sock ninja
My math:
Owner of dog + putting on socks to find holes in them = relentlessly annoyed owner with not one decent pair of socks
