When Diego doesn’t want to do something all he has to do is roll over and there is literally no moving him. Treats, cheese, t-bone steak- nothing works.

“Dad!”
“What?”
“Dad!”
“Whaaaat!?”
“I ate your hearing aid!”
Sorry mom!
I was so excited when mom was putting on my collar to take me to doggie daycare for the day i jumped up and hit her lip with my big head. . There was blood everywhere and she had to go to the ER and get 3 stitches.
Hates to get his feet damp
I have fetched in the Pacific Ocean, swam in the Sandy River, but I refuse to pee on damp grass.
Adoptable Fridays – Tina
Hi! My name is Tina and I’m a super happy, sun-shiny girl. I’m available to adopters living in Texas through The Weimaraner Rescue of Texas. I like all other dogs and I’m pretty sure that the whole reason humans exist is to love on me and so for that reason I LOVE all people. I require lots of attention, rubs and kisses. I like to be held in a lap and told how pretty I am as I drift off to sleep. My hobbies include unrolling balls of yarn, rubbing my sides against things for a good scratch (like a bear does) and checking the ears of people, cats and other dogs for stuff that maybe shouldn’t be in there. My foster mom says I’m funny to watch. She says a lot of things about me, like that I’m goofy and silly and an overgrown puppy and quite a character. I like my foster mom-she knows how special I am-so I protect her home and am polite to her kitties and lean against her legs until I’m practically horizontal. We have a good thing going here, but I know it’s only temporary. What I really, really want is a person of my own. I want to belong to them and for them to belong to me for the rest of my life. So… I was wondering if you’d be willing to share this post about me? I know my forever home is out there, and I think you can help me to find it. Thanks for sharing me and helping me to find my forever home!
Adoptable Fridays – Lady Bird ADOPTED!!!
Lady Bird is a (best guess) lab/beagle mix of about two years available for adoption through Rural Dog Rescue in Washington, DC and the surrounding area. Lady Bird weighs in at about 40 lbs. and is sweet, energetic and great with kids. She’s spayed and up to date on her shots. She’s looking for a loving owner or family who will help her pursue her burgeoning modeling career (isn’t she beautiful?), or at least provide a good home and lots of belly rubs. Read more about Lady Bird here.
Crate Escape and Scarf Making
Our Chocolate Lab Mix Fred has achieved Houdini status by escaping from his wire crate several times. This time he not only escaped but decided to turn my husband’s shirt into a scarf.
I can’t be trusted
“I did this. (30 lbs of egg shells)”
Left alone for 5 minutes while I went back into the bakery, Honeydog opened 4 containers containing 30 lbs of egg shells, munched away and dragged them all over my car. This is why she never gets to go anywhere. People walking down the sidewalk stopped dead in their tracks and gasped when I opened my door and found the damage.
Narcissus
Bingo likes to jump up on the counter to stare at himself in the mirror. Then he wants help getting down, he weighs 95 pounds…
I jump on the counters to get a better look at myself
In a jam
The usually well-behaved “Summer” knocked a full jar of jam off the counter ( miraculously not breaking it ), carried it to her crate, opened the lid (!) and consumed the entire thing with her long & talented tongue.
