I eat fake poop
Bubba ate a fake dog turd (is that better than eating real dog turds?) and then puked it in Mommy & Daddy’s bed at 5am. The other half came out two weeks later….also in our bed. But we love his stinky face, his sister merely tolerates him!
Adoptable Fridays – Cody
Cody is a well-behaved, handsome boy, a “people dog” who likes everyone. Cody is at Rural Dog Rescue in Washington, DC. While he’s good with other dogs, he’s getting stressed out in his doggie daycare foster, so we want to find him a nice home soon. He’s a young black lab mix who excels at training – the trainer calls him a “rock star.” (www.ruraldogrescue.com) and is available to adopters in the area. Read more about him here.
Adoptable Fridays – Soleil
“I tried to wear my foster dad’s retainers… they didn’t fit me! Sorry dad”
Soleil is one of the sweetest most affectionate foster puppies we have ever had. She lives in Belle Chasse, LA and is being fostered through P.A.W.S. She was found wandering the streets with her brother and sister, who all look to be pure bred Labrador Retrievers, so they are a bit shy around people at first but we have found that once Soleil is in a home environment her true sunny side comes out to shine! She is house-trained (and will let you know when she needs to go out) and walks well on a leash. She is highly socialized with other dogs and plays well with others. Soleil is bring fostered through P.A.W.S. while she waits to find her forever home!

James – the very patient beggar
My friend’s beagle mix, James, is the sweetest dog in the world. He loves food – any kind, so he will stare at you while your eating – no matter how long it takes, until he gets a morsel.
