“I hate having my ears cleaned so much that I hide every single time someone opens the medicine cabinet” – Phoebe, 7yo lab.
My lab is prone to ear infections, so the vet told me to clean her ears once a week. Every time Phoebe hears the creak of the medicine cabinet opening, she makes a run for her crate and hides. In reality, she’s actually only getting her ears cleaned about 10% of the time I open that cabinet, but she obviously doesn’t want to risk it.
My family was all gone for work and school and when we came home Chase our three year old yellow lab decided to do some new floor work in our laundry room. He chewed a big hole in the middle of the floor and even tried hiding the evidence under his bed. He actually did me a favor because now I get new flooring!
“I’m Abby. He’s Snowflake. I make him nervous…..I’m not ashamed.”
Snowflake is my pigeon. Abby is my neighbors dog who visits my 2 dogs and cat. My guys have learned to accept Snowflake as a part of the pack. He basically looks down on me and my pack as though we are beneath him. However, when Abby comes over he is a little bit more reserved in his haughtiness.
Needless to say. He’s unsure of Abby’s intentions. She makes him nervous!
Mommy took me to the vet because my stomach was making funny noises and I wasn’t eating.
Turns out, the vet said I was fine! It only cost her $250 and a heart attack. Also, I got to play tag with the vet assistants cause I ran away when we got there. Such a fun day!!
I swim after my mom and try to hug her in the water. i am sorry i end up scratching her. i also ate the fish food. sorry. and i pretend to be limping when my dad asks me if i want to run with him i am perfect in my mom’s eyes anyway. love, BAMBA!
