Coco the shamed hound
I knocked over a glass of soda on my owner’s new Macbook Pro and fried it. I’ve destroyed more than 35 remote controls, and have eaten literally thousands of dollars worth of shoes. I live a life of dog luxury, and yet I show not one bit of gratitude or respect for the property of others. I am just lucky to be so loved, for sure.
I enjoy pooping in copy machines
“Felony” pooped in the tray of the copier. I went to go make a copy and guess what came out? I have no idea how long it had been in there. Disgusting! You can see how she earned her name. It’s a good thing she is absolutely adorable.
Adoptable Fridays – Ethel
Ethel is a two year old miniature schnoxie or possibly a wirehaired dachshund mix. She is available through A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue & Fixin’) in Cookeville, TN. She is very loving, and after she learns to trust you will never leave your side! (Seriously, never, not even when you are in the shower or using the restroom.) She loves snuggles and belly rubs, and is more than willing to help keep the dust out from under your bed in exchange for being allowed to sleep on it! Ethel would love to have a little partner-in-crime/playmate her own size, but would be fine as an only dog as well. Her current foster home has three other dogs, but no kids or cats. We do know that she is fine with older kids, and she has been friendly with smaller kids during adoption events, but she has not been around any cats that we know of! Ethel shares a dog bed with her foster sister at night, and when the alarm goes off she jumps up, tail wagging to ensure that her foster parents do not oversleep. She would also like to add that she is a baby-gate hurdle champion, and is willing to pull her weight by making a careful inventory of your shoes. Ethel is mostly housetrained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. She can be fearful of strangers due to lack of socialization, but has made great progress in this area. She needs a home that will continue to keep her socialized.
For more information on Ethel, please check out her profile here. Ethel is currently fostered in Cookeville, TN but transport is available to the Northeast and Chicago areas!
The Green-Pawed Puppies
Olive jumped the fence to our garden, pulled down all the corn stalks, took bites out of all the watermelons and trampled the green beans. She was kind enough to pull the corn over the fence to share with Bellini that she later vomited all over our bed in the middle of the night. After a summer of work my husband and I each got one ear of corn.
How come grandpa gets to do it???
Miko the dorkie (Yorkie/ dachshund mix) heard that fertilizer makes you grow. Unfortunately for him the only thing it got him was a bath…
We didn’t shame him on the first bath but when he provided us a second chance we couldn’t resist 🙂

I Eat Scented Soap
I eat scented soap but it doesn’t make my poop smell any better.
Hearing Aid Chompers
My mother’s miniature dachshund girls both ate her dad’s hearing aids when he came to visit.
Text reads “Granddad had two hearing aids…we ate them both”
