Roxy our 1 year old corgi has to have something to lay on. Usually it’s her brother, Bruiser the Chinese crested or Wylie the cat. She’s not picky or ashamed, just bossy and a princess.

Michael Korgs
“I barked because my mom wouldn’t let me in the bedroom while her boyfriend was here. She got mad, so I ate her Michael Kors wallet while I waited.”
My Corgi, Harkness, loves it when people come over and gets upset if he doesn’t get attention (OMG he does *not* care what you’re doing, he will try to cuddle you. Imagine that during, say, yoga.) . After my boyfriend and I were in the bedroom for a while he started barking at the door. He didn’t like it when I came out to fuss at him and still wouldn’t let him in. I was thrilled that he stopped barking after that, but realized afterwards he knocked my phone wallet to the ground and proceeded to get his revenge.
Adoptable Fridays – Gunther
“Wait a minute, Ma…you mean the cone was supposed to prevent me from chewing? That’s funny.”
Gunther is one year old foster dog from Auburn, GA. He’s being fostered through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. He is a 25lb German Shepherd/Corgi mix that HATES to be crated. I still don’t know how he caused this much damage while wearing a “cone of shame.” He is very well behaved outside of the crate! He is a very calm and sweet boy when not contained.
Adoptable Friday – Jessica ADOPTED!!!!
Jessica is a sweet one and a half year old Corgi/Terrier mix from Arlington, VA. She’s up for adoption through Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation. Jessica loves giving kisses. In fact, she doesn’t ever want to stop. She is a cuddly lap dog with a gorgeous golden coat. She is good with dogs and cats and very very sweet. She is cratetrained, quiet, and well-behaved in the house. She is food-motivated, a quick learner, and eager to please. She would prefer a relatively calm and quiet home environment. She would make a great companion to an existing dog. Are you looking for a dog with the gorgeous coat of a golden retriever and the size and temperament of a lapdog? Then come meet Miss Jessica! Here is her profile.

You Are Not A Bird!
I put birdseed out on a table in the back yard for the birds and squirrels but Daisy decided it must have been meant for her. I am not sure how a Corgi jumped up on that table!
Adoptable Fridays – Jacob
Jacob is a Corgi/Jack Russell mix who is about 5 1/2 years old and 17 pounds. He is available through MidWest Rescue and lives near Minneapolis, MN. He is a quiet, sweet boy indoors, keeping to himself or snuggling next to his person. Outside he LOVES to chase birds and watch what is going on outside of the fence. He seems to love wearing dog clothes, almost helping you get them onto him. He LOVES going for walks and getting crazy with squeaky toys, as well as sleeping snuggled up under the covers at night. Somehow, he knows if a camera is near and ready to shoot photos, whether it be a cell phone camera OR a real camera! He will leave the vicinity when he figures this out. The only reason he stayed put for the photo is for a piece of chicken, his favorite treat (besides his morning Greenie).
Jacob would do very well with a relaxed atmosphere, no children, and no cats. He gets along with dogs, but seems to be fairly independent, preferring adult people. If you would like to find out more about Jacob, click here.
Adoptable Fridays – Candy
My foster brother taught me how to drink from the toilet. My foster brother is a cat.
My name is Candy and I am available for adoption through Eleventh Hour Rescue in Bloomfield, NJ. I am about one year old and a shepherd/corgi mix. She has the body of a corgi; markings and ears of a German Shepherd; and fur and voice of a husky. Candy is the epitome of a little sister – she follows her foster brothers around all day, copying their every move! She is is a very happy and playful girl who loves other dogs and wants to love cats too! Here’s her profile.
