Luna has arrived in the Pacific Northwest and is exploring Seattle, WA with her foster mom. She is available through the Georgia Peaches Puppy Rescue. She is smart and adorable – a cuddle bug along with her hobby of head sitting (her sister has been adopted – but she does have two brother available!) Her days are spent playing with her toys, her stuffed dog and chewing on some bones! Luna loves to nap and when she wakes up she happily follows her person from room to room. Crate training in going well and she is learning quickly with clicker training (and some chicken treats)! This girl is the best puppy!
This is Luna, a soon to be 3 year old boxer, who tortures her mother on a daily basis. Ruby, Luna’s mother, is so passive she takes her ribbing for a decent amount of time before she has to put her daughter in her place.
Tyson has always been great about only playing with his toys and not touching the furniture. One day, while we were at work, he escaped his playpen and went to town on the couch. He swore there was a mouse in there that got away, but for some reason we don’t buy his story……
On our walk this morning, since there is so much snow for Nemo, Chloe was having trouble finding a spot to go, so she decided that the perfectly shoveled path of the neighbor’s was the ideal spot.
“I threw up Sorry….Brutus”
Brutus learned a valuable lesson: If it looks like dog food but doesn’t smell, feel, taste like dog food, it’s not dog food.
Kong is a boxer mix who is roughly 7 weeks and recovering from mange. Once he is healthy he will be availble for adoption. Like a typical pup he loves to play, cuddle, and get attention. Kong is adoptable through Powell PAWS in Ohio.
Shortly after we adopted our Boxer, Goya, from a local shelter I was walking up the stairs and heard a noise coming from the kitchen. When I went to investigate I found Goya standing comfortably on her back feet, using her front feet to stablize and push the ‘water’ button on the fridge, drinking the water as it came out. After an initial visit to the vet, we were told that she has partial kidney failure and because of that will have an insatiable appetite for water.. but to us, she’s just ‘special’ and we love her thirsty-and-self-suffiencent or not.
Clarissa is a very sweet snorer who is looking for her forever home in Jersey City, NJ! She is approximately a year old. Clarissa is spayed and has all her shots. Clarissa gets along well with other dogs and loves to play! She has learned some basic commands like sit, down and paw. We did a DNA test on Clarissa and she is basically a complete mutt; the only breed that’s probably in her for sure is boxer. She is available for adoption through Liberty Humane Society.
