Tenny is a 20 lb blue Heeler/jack Russell terrier mix. Her big brother is 140lb Great Dane/black lab mix. He has lost weight since we got Tenny. We know why…she steals his food!

Sleepless nights
This is my family’s new rescue puppy Bella. We got her after my other dog passed away (he was 14). Apparently my family forgot how fun the puppy years are.
(Update- apparently she isn’t afraid of the mop, vacuum, or snowblower. Uh oh!)
Editor’s note: Katie sent me a very sweet message that dogshaming lifted her spirits when she was down. I’m so happy that this site brings joy to so many people. Thanks Katie!!
Green with envy
I ate a whole box of Greenies and then vomited green all over the house.
Used dog for sale
Ruckus (yes, that’s his name) got scared over a cat with a cone of shame on our bike ride (and soooo close to home). He instantly cut in front of the bike causing me to screech to a halt and still manage to run into him a bit. In the process, I flipped on my bike and landed on my side. I came out with scrapes and bruises, while he came out with a loss in his pride. But look at that smug face!
Tastes like vegemite!
My dog eats bluebottles on the beach. For those not in the know a bluebottle is like a cross between a jellyfish and a bubble with long blue tentacles that give you one painful sting. Just another of those Australian things you want to avoid. As for the butter well he ate half the stick he found on the kitchen bench then obviously decided he’d save the rest for later and buried it in the laundry basket. I found it three days later whilst doing the washing.
Trashy Take-Out
We came home to the leftover rice box pulled out of the trash, and all of the rice was gone.
Danger Loom’ing
Lucy can’t stop eating her human siblings’ Rainbow Looms.
Editor’s Note: Rubber bands can cause intestinal issues, so please be careful!
Sugar-Coated Cattle Dog
“I ate an entire box of fundips and now I have green paws.” – While home alone, Jackson, my blue heeler/lab mix gorged himself on a box of fundips left on the table. He would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for the sugar coating the entire living room and his mysteriously green paws.
Adoptable Fridays – Barley
I’m Barley – a 2-3 year-old, 40-lb red heeler/cattle dog from Denver, CO, looking for my forever home! I’m a happy, energetic young man who is always ready for any fun activity! Leash walks/jogs – love it! Fetch – love it! Hiking – love it!
I enjoy the company of all people and dogs I’ve met during my stint with Paws & Co. Adoptions. I have yet to meet any younger children or cats but it is unlikely that they’d appreciate my active, sometimes rough, play so I probably shouldn’t cohabitate with such creatures at this point in my life. I’m a very intelligent pup and am quickly learning the basics of being an indoor canine family member. I’d love to take this training to the next level – maybe some agility or treibball (urban herding)? Wahoo – I love new challenges! Also, cuddling… I love to cuddle.
If you’re interested in a friendly, adventurous new family member, please email pawscoadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application on the Paws & Co. Adoptions website today!
Adoptable Fridays – Luna
I ate 5 cones, 2 blankets, 2 toys, a dog bed, my cage card, and my IV catheter. Love, Luna.
Luna is a 1 year old, female, spayed, Cattle dog mix from Sunbury, PA who is looking for a home. She is being fostered through the Sunbury Animal Hospital. She has lots of energy and a big appetite!
