Superman’s Kryptonite? Cute shameful dogs!
“I thought this was green cotton candy, but I found out it was my kryptonite.”
We came home to this scene and still can’t quite figure out how she wrote this note…
Adoptable Fridays – Pierce ADOPTED!
On April 27, we featured Pierce from Rural Dog Rescue. We’re thrilled to say that as a result of people seeing him on Dog Shaming, we received multiple applications…. and this week, Pierce went home to his forever home.
Thank you for featuring Pierce and all the other Adoptable Friday dogs out there!

Snow Day Problems in the Dog World
Louie, recently rescued from a high kill shelter in the warm and sunny South, does not enjoy the snow. He went on a 24 hour number #2 strike during the blizzard this weekend. Booties and a coat have since been purchased!
Cheese Thieves
We ate the Parmesan cheese while mama and daddy were running a race. We are ashamed.
Rider (lab) and Lola got the cheese off the counter and went to town while we were out running a 5k. Lola felt especially ashamed and hid behind daddy.
Dogs don’t knit
Gilly watched some low-budget indie films last night and thought she could knit today. No.
Has it snowed?
I didn’t t want my mum to go to work so I shredded my bed. She is still picking up fluff in the backyard!
Ate the Pillow
I went to the morning market and when I got home a fluffy surprise awaited me in the living room…
Adoptable Fridays – Mya
This is Mya, my absolutely beautiful foster dog, rescued off of death row. She lives in Dallas, TX and is being fostered through the Animals Allies of Texas. She is sweet, smart, knows tricks and commands and walks perfectly on a leash. She also loves the car. Only problems are her counter-surfing and monkey butt! We are working on these issues though. Check Mya’s profile here.
Adoptable Fridays – Mason
My name is Mason. I currently live at the Ulster County SPCA in Kingston, NY. Everyone thinks I’m really handsome and pretty strong for a 2 year old. My favorite past-times are drooling, taking a long walk, drooling, playing, napping, drooling, and of course -drooling. Before you get too turned off you should know that beneath all of my drool is a heart of gold! I’ll do anything for a treat and I will love you forever – that’s a promise! The staff and volunteers at the shelter all tell me how great I am at leash-walking and I’m pretty proud of how I handle myself around other dogs (cats too!). As an added bonus, I’m up to date on all of my vaccines and I’m neutered, happy and healthy!
