Sheila is a sweet 3 y/o spayed lab/pit mix living at the Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter for the past 2+ years waiting for her forever home. She is a shelter favorite to bring home for sleepovers, the beach, and offsite adoption events. Her favorite thing to do is shower her human in kisses, whether they want them or not! With her limited exposure to the outside world, she can be a bit nervous, so her forever family would need to be patient when introducing her to new things. She is great with kids and other dogs. Watson is an 8 pound, fawn and white parti colored, 7 year old, male Pekingese presently living in a foster home in Minneapolis MN. He’s being fostered through PNC Midwest Rescue. Watson has some nerve damage to his back legs and will need to have a home with no steps or someone willing to help him out a bit. He loves snuggling on the couch and being carried around!
My foster mom thinks that this is cute and thinks it will help get me adopted, I just want to chew my antlers off with shame, notice my foster brother Marvin in the background happy that I am here to distract his fur-mom from dressing him up!
Here’s his profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Fiona
Fiona is a small 30 pound brindle bundle of love. She came from Georgia, but now lives in Seattle, WA. She’s being fostered through Georgia Peaches. Fiona decided to chew up her foster mom’s chair because she thought it was a bone. For the record she only did that once and now knows that furniture is not a chew toy! She is very smart and only had to be told no one time.

Howdy, I’m Lance!! My pals at Wagging Dog Rescue in Torrance, CA are helping me with my search, so please let them know when you’re ready for me to move in!! I enjoy playing and cuddling too, and I’m looking for a responsible family to spend my first holiday with.
Adoptable Fridays – Frankie
Frankie is tired of her foster mom Cheryl making her dress up in silly outfits! She is currently being fostered through PNC Midwest Rescue and is presently living in a foster home in Cottage Grove MN. She’s a 13 pound, light fawn, 6 year old, female Pekingese, Frankie is such a love! Frankie would do best as an only dog or a submissive dog that will just give her her space. For Christmas Frankie would like a fur-ever family so that she is not shamed in this way! Here is her profile.

I’ve been told I’m a great roommate. I’m pretty quiet, know how to make you laugh, go to the bathroom outside, make a mean mimosa, and I don’t throw parties when you’re out of town… well, that only happened once. I’ll be honest, it takes a little while for me to trust people. I was …

In the four weeks JB has been with us, he’s eaten almost a dozen of my socks (but, unfortunately, that does not mean six pairs) — and none of my husband’s. But he’s damn cute, hugely loving, and totally adoptable through Last Hope K9 Rescue in Boston, MA!

Adoptable Fridays – Ramona
I’m not going to lie or be shamed… belly rubs are amazing!
My name is Ramona. I live in Manhattan Beach, CA and am being fostered through Noah’s Bark. I was named for the freeway off-ramp I was found by. I was lucky some nice people stopped to save me when they saw me eating roadkill on the freeway.
I am being housebroken and crate trained and doing very well. I am learning what it is like to be loved and cared for and I love my life now. I am a happy fun girl once I know I am safe. Oh and belly rubs are the best! I weigh about 7 pounds but all my bones are sticking out so I need to gain some weight. I will be spayed when I have gained some weight. I love other dogs and kitties too, I even met some horses, they are not too scary, I am a very brave girl. Please adopt Ramona and give her the great life every dog deserves, she will be forever grateful, she knows the dark side of life. Here is her profile.
