Adoptable Fridays – Rythym
Rhythm is a very handsome 5 month old puppy from Red Deer, Alberta. He is being fostered through Hope Lives Here Animal Rescue Society. He is a little shy when he first meets some new people or animals, but warms up very quickly. He’s a relatively high energy puppy and would do well in an active home. Rhythm is a social pup and loves to wrestle and run around with other dogs, spend lots of time with his people, and even tries (with little success) to play with the cat. He will be a medium sized dog, the vet estimates around 30 lbs. For more information, click here.
Adoptable Fridays – Misty
Misty is sweet and loving nine month old Chihuahua mix who needs a forever family! She lives in South Elgin, IL and is being fostered through the Anderson Animal Shelter. Misty is a darling and endearing ten month old little lady. Living in a foster home, with her sister Bianca, the pair spends a lot of time doing what puppies do best, playing! They play with each other, the other dogs in their foster home and any willing participant. Misty is quite petite at six pounds and is on the timid side. When she is not playing, Misty does love to cuddle and would be happy to lie on a soft lap and watch a good movie. For more information on Misty, click here.
Adoptable Fridays – Milt
Much to his delight, Milt was put in the kennel with the big, fluffy pillows that is usually reserved for the older, more responsible dog of the house. Milt is a young whippersnapper from Omaha, NE who’s being fostered by the Basset and Beagle Rescue of the Heartland. If you need a running partner who never gets tired? Milt’s your man! (Er…dog.) This young, hilarious pup will entertain you with his antics all day long…right up until he snuggles up and crashes at bedtime. Although he loves other dogs and children, this independent (some might say evil) genius’ true passion is plotting how to take over the world.
…Or steal your dinner.
…Or access the pantry.
…Or open the back gate.

Adoptable Fridays – Penelope
It was my birthday and I don’t like cake and asked for a homemade pie. So I enjoyed one slice before it was ripped from the table:
Penelope is a delightful little girl from Detroit/Ann Arbor, MI. She is being fostered through Last day dog rescue. She is just full of life and happiness that she is always ready for fun and loves to play with people. There is no need to ever ask for kisses as she is always ready to pass them out! She is also a huge cuddler! She is on the shorter size and a real joy to be with! She can be picky about her doggie friends but we are working on this. As in all young dogs she needs some basic rules but is a fast learner and really wants to please. She is really good at “sit” and is learning “lay down” and “paw”. She does fine in a crate and rides ok in car but she tries to get in your lap because she just wants to be close to you. For more information, click here.
Adoptable Fridays – Paisley
Paisley my foster dog
“I have removed & eaten all evidence of my identity so I can not be deported.”
-Paisley-
Paisley is adoptable from Furry Kids Refuge in Lee’s Summit, MO. Paisley was surrendered to Furry Kids when her family could no longer care for her. Her family thinks that at some time during her life, Paisley may have been abused. She is very timid and will need time and a patient family that will give her time to come out of her shell. Once Paisley gets settled in, she is very active! She could play all day! She was in a foster home with cats and she will chase them to try play with them, but isn’t aggressive towards them. Paisley has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Paisley, please complete an adoption application and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
