Cleaning day
After a long hard day’s work..
Adoptable Fridays – Cinnamon
“I am a ladybug. Your argument is invalid.” Cinnamon just doesn’t realize that she is not an insect, she is in fact a 75 pound pit bull! She lives in Newhall, CA and is being adopted through New Leash On Life. When she’s not in costume she’s learning how to open the fridge, playing with volunteers, and trying to get into laps she can’t fit in! She would love to find someone to give her great big kisses to at the end of the day!
Adoptable Fridays- Daisy
Daisy lives in Mount Laurel, NJ and is being adopted through Animal Sanctuary Society. This sweet greyhound mix is so cute and just gets along with everyone. She is very friendly, loving and loves to give kisses. She loves to run and she runs 5 miles a day on a tread mill. She isn’t hooked and gets off when she is done, sometimes she will run 6 miles. She is waiting for a new loving home. Here is her profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Libby
Libby is adoptable through the Humane Society of Concord in Concord, NC.
Libby is a wonderful adult dog with a great personality! She is house trained and is very affectionate towards people. She can be quite a couch potato, but also thoroughly enjoys her daily walks! Libby walks great on a leash, knows the commands “sit,” “down,” and “stay”, and loves going for a ride in the car! Libby needs to be the only animal of the house so she can soak up all the love! She is spayed and current on all of her shots.
All Libby needs is a loving “forever” home!
Adoptable Fridays – Ziggy
Ziggy, our adorable foster dog from Monona, WI, was up to the task of helping his foster sister’s painting dry. We didn’t realize this until he walked into the room with a blue mug. The blue really accentuated his underbite!! Ziggy is a fun little 10lb boy who was transferred from Milwaukee Animal Control to Underdog Pet Rescue. He had been a stray for what the shelter believed to be months and months and had to be shaved down when he came in because he was so matted. Poor little guy! He has been fantastic at his intake foster home with kids and he LOVES to play with other dogs and people.
Adoptable Fridays – Abby
Abby *claims* that she won’t take up much room on the bed, but can we really believe her? This adoptable sweetheart came to Best Friends Animal Society in Kanad, UT after being rescued from a cruel dog fighting operation in Georgia. She’s wonderful with people, but she should be an only dog.
As part of Best Friends’ “Single and Loving It” adoption event, the first 7 cats and 7 dogs matched with their true loves will fly home for free through February 18. These “single” pets will need to be the only dog or cat in your home, but promise you’ll never be alone! Here is Abby’s profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Darrel
Darrel loves his foster sister…and isn’t shy about showing it!!
Darrel is available for adoption through Project rescue Chicago in Chicago, IL.
He is a 5 year old Akita/Shiba Inu mix, housebroken, crate trained, and great on walks. He’s gentle, loving, polite, and outgoing with dogs of all sizes and humans of all ages. Darrel should go to a home with other dogs since he loves them so much and does best with a buddy!
Here is his profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Julian
Julian not only hung himself from a fence by the foot for Christmas, costing the rescue that is sponsoring him over $2000 for the new plate in his ankle, he then ate part of the clinic that was donating services to said rescue.
Julian is a terrier/pit mix being fostered through the Animal Compassion Network from Asheville, NC. He is a handsome man who loves spending these long winter evenings curled up in his favorite armchair, or playing with his new best friend. While Julian has the energy and spunk to be a hiking or jogging buddy, he also enjoys being a couch potato. He has a very sweet temperament and is waiting for a forever home where is affection will be returned. Here’s his profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Candy
My foster brother taught me how to drink from the toilet. My foster brother is a cat.
My name is Candy and I am available for adoption through Eleventh Hour Rescue in Bloomfield, NJ. I am about one year old and a shepherd/corgi mix. She has the body of a corgi; markings and ears of a German Shepherd; and fur and voice of a husky. Candy is the epitome of a little sister – she follows her foster brothers around all day, copying their every move! She is is a very happy and playful girl who loves other dogs and wants to love cats too! Here’s her profile.
