This is Buddy and he’s a carb-oholic! When my boyfriend and I left to complete an errand we came back to quite a mess. Buddy had climbed on the couch, climbed on a coffee table, jumped from the coffee table to the kitchen ledge and then onto the kitchen counter to eat leftover whole-wheat pancakes!
His sign says “I broke two dishes, a lamp, and a vase while playing “Spider-Man” to get on the kitchen counter and eat pancakes. My parents aren’t mad…they’re impressed!”
I refuse to be parented
Dear Mom,
I don’t know why you waste ANY time reading this silly books. Keep bringing ’em home and I will keep eating them.
Love, Tater
PS I don’t care that you borrowed this from a friend.
Pay attention to ME!

Adoptable Fridays – The Spice Girls
Sugar and Spice love to spend time with their Foster Mom in the kitchen! They are both available for adoption through Pointer Rescue in Sebago Lake, ME. They are approximately 4 years old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm negative, and on preventative. They love to go for walks and are doing well with leash manners and basic obedience commands. They are both very loving sweet girls who were surrendered by a hunter in Texas and have acclimated very well to life in Maine in a caring and loving environment. They both love to play with toys and each other but have also found that a good nap on a couch in the sun is a wonderful thing. For more on Sugar, click here. For more on Spice, click here.
Adoptable Fridays – Pearl
“I ripped my foster sister’s expensive bed. Then I growled in her face. PS–I regret nothing.” –Pearl
Pearl was a feral dog recently taken into my house as a foster. She currently lives in Sacramento, CA and is being adopted through Scooter’s Pals. As you can see–she isn’t entirely appreciative of us yet!
Adoptable Fridays – Banjo
Meet Banjo!
Banjo is a one year old Chihuahua min pin mix who lives in the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada. He’s currently being fostered by Last Chance Rescue. He is a shy little guy at first, but has warmed up amazingly in his foster home. He is great with other dogs, and cats. Banjo can initially have leash reaction in other dogs, which he is working on. We wouldn’t recommend kids under 12 for this boy, as he is very timid initially. Once he settles in, he is a high energy boy, who is full of spunk and loves to play. He knows all his basic commands, and is housetrained and crate trained. Banjo has had it rough before coming into our care, and really needs the perfect forever home. Here’s Banjo’s profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Leo
Leonardo is stunning black and white 1.5 year old Dalmatian Cross who lives in the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada. He’s currently being fostered by Last Chance Rescue. He is a medium sized boy who loves people. He’s a loving dog with an excellent temperament and loves to just give you hugs and curl up with you on the sofa.Under all that love is an extremely high energy pup that will need lots of exercise. A home with a yard for Leo is recommended, as apartment living would not suit him. Leo is currently working on crate training and does have a bit of separation anxiety. Here’s Leo’s profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Chili
This is chili. He lives in the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada. He’s currently being fostered through Last Chance Rescue. He’s a neutered male chihuahua. Chili NEEDS to go to a home with another dog. He is really lacking in confidence and gets very scared alone without another dog. He is crate trained, and housetrained. He can mark in new environments. He does well with cats as well. Chili would do best with children older than 10, as he can nip when scared. Chili came from a veryrough situation where he was never provided proper training or enforcement. His fosters have been working hard with him, and he is very food motivated. Ultimately he is a great little dog, who has been making huge strides in his training. Here’s Chili’s profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Luna
Luna has arrived in the Pacific Northwest and is exploring Seattle, WA with her foster mom. She is available through the Georgia Peaches Puppy Rescue. She is smart and adorable – a cuddle bug along with her hobby of head sitting (her sister has been adopted – but she does have two brother available!) Her days are spent playing with her toys, her stuffed dog and chewing on some bones! Luna loves to nap and when she wakes up she happily follows her person from room to room. Crate training in going well and she is learning quickly with clicker training (and some chicken treats)! This girl is the best puppy!
