Adoptable Fridays – Gumball, the bunny
“I think I’m a bunny… when we’re not sharing veggies, I steal rabbit pellets and hay!”
We recently started fostering a young bunny named Gumball until he finds his fur-ever home. Our Pomeranian, Ricky, thinks he’s a bunny now, too; he steals rabbit pellets and hay and climbs into the bunny condo when he thinks we’re not looking.
Gumball is a sweet and affectionate bun in the Greater Toronto Area. If you’re interested in adopting him, please visit his Facebook page or Rabbit Rescue Inc. for details!
Adoptable Fridays – Cricket
“I use my chunky foster brother to stay warm although he doesn’t like to cuddle with me.”
We have been fostering Cricket, the smaller pug, for about a month. This 3-year old lady was surrendered to Pug Rescue of Austin in Austin, TX. She came in with fur loss and skin problems. The vet has put on her on a special diet since we believe her issues were caused by food allergies. Although she is still missing some fur and has hyperpigmentation, Cricket has drastically improved. She was in this condition for about a year and a half before her previous owners gave her up, so it’ll probably take just as much time to completely recover.
Cricket is also blind from cataracts and has bilateral luxating patellas (basically she looks a little bowl-legged). Despite these things, she has no problem getting around. She is a sweet, easygoing girl and loves people, children and other dogs. Her interests are playing with squeaky toys, being close to her foster brother, cuddling, napping and playing in the backyard.

Adoptable Fridays – Glennis
I like helping my skin foster sister clean and put away her wooden blocks…never mind the teeth marks and slobber.
I am HELPING!!!
Glennis is a strikingly beautiful petite female Boxer with a deep red and white coat. She was rescued from a kill shelter in the Rio Grande Valley, TX where she had been picked up as a stray. She’s now with a foster family in Austin, TX and is being adopted out through the Austin Boxer Rescue. Glennis is currently heartworm positive, but will be treated by ABR.
Glennis loves humans, children in particular. Glennis would prefer to be an only pet in her home, and has a high prey drive. Her foster mom describes her as a homebody who also does well in public. Glennis has very nice manners and takes direction well from anyone she views as the leader. She is housebroken and crate-trained and is currently learning to walk on a leash. Adoptable Fridays – Gene Simmons
Gene Simmons is a white and grey Chinese Crested Dog. He loves running and playing outside and cuddling in your lap to watch T.V inside. Gene and his sister Cindy are both available for adoption through FOWA Rescue in NJ. The nice rescue people didn’t know if I had ever seen grass before.. so when the they took me out to do some business in the grass at the vet’s office, I didn’t know how to sniff out a good grass spot.. so I peed on my sister instead.
The vet had to give her a bath!
Ps.. My foster mom’s dogs taught me how to sniff out great spots and trees and bushes.. so now I am a pro!
Please visit the website at http://www.fowa.petfinder.com/ to see more pics and videos of Gene or fill out an adoption application.

I just wanted a bite
We cooked steak on out NEW grill for dinner. Bishop didn’t get one single bite, so he “cleaned” off the juice I dripped on the wheel.
