Mia attacked this bamboo plant while we were at work, twice. This time it was recovering on the kitchen counter. Must have been worth it! She’s great at pretending to be sorry!
It’s too early for this poop!
Everyone once in a while Rider wakes up in the middle of the night and poops in the house. He is always very ashamed and won’t look at me. His sign says, “I am too old to be pooping on the floor. I am ashamed. -Rider”

Adoptable Fridays – Skylar
Skylar is a 6 year old neutered male Akita / dandelion mix from Shakopee, MN. I wasn’t sure what he was mixed with until – poof – one day he exploded like a fluffy dandelion. Skylar says he doesn’t mind being part flowery – weed and he is definitely not ashamed! He is somewhat shamed that he gets so excited when meeting people that he jumps, but he says he is working on that!
Please check out Skylar”s page at Wags and Whiskers Animal Rescue, he will love you no matter what your shames are!
Adoptable Fridays – Wrangler
This is Wrangler, our foster puppy. He is very playful and just wanted to let me know how much he appreciated being saved from the pound by going potty in the house a couple times on his first night with us. He is doing better now though. He is available for adoption through the Cimarron Valley Humane Society out of Cushing, OK.
Is there a problem?
“Maybe if I hide it under my lip, Mom won’t notice….” Charlie, my ever adorable 4 month old yellow lab, has discovered that his big floppy lips are an excellent hiding place for all things that don’t belong in puppies’ mouths!
Unicorn shaming?
“I Hiss every time the dogs come near so now I have to wear this hat”
I’ll take a 6″ turkey sub, hold the mayo!
Mom put her dinner on the table and went to change out the laundry. I took a 6 inch turkey sandwich out of the bag and wrapper and ate the whole thing.
I Pooped in the Office
I broke the only rule in my mom’s office for “bring your dog to work day” and pooped within the first hour of getting there.
