Once when I was using the Foreman Grill the smoke alarm went off. Ever since then he shakes and hides during our lean mean grilling sessions.
I Chew Everything!
My 9 month of Fox Terrier cross chewed my glasses that I rely on to see while I was in the shower! He chews just about anything he can get his paws and jaw on!!! I still love him though, I can’t get mad at this cutie!

Reverse Dog Shaming Contest: Rex
Everyone tells me I was lucky that mommy and daddy rescued me off the streets (literally) of New Orleans. I return the favor everyday! I licked mommy’s stress tears away during law school and helped her study for the bar by laying on her feet. I cuddle on top of daddy every day after work so he physically can’t be stressed. I make sure to make them laugh everyday – they are happy I made us a little family!
Thank you everyone for participating!! The contest is now closed!! The book comes out tomorrow!! Make sure you order your copy!
I’d be more worried about WHERE than HOW she sleeps…
I like to sleep like this, even though it’s not very ladylike.
– Zoey
Editor’s note: Those look like stairs right behind Zoey, looks like a long way down too! 😉
Reverse Dog Shaming Contest: Zoe
“My mom works at a vet clinic and I donate blood every six weeks to save other dogs when they’re sick. I am Super Dog!”
Zoe is a huge help at the emergency clinic I work at. She loves coming to work (I got her there as a 2 day old puppy that was dumped) and I think she knows she’s helping! She donates blood for transfusions and has saved many dogs with her super blood.
Bad Claude!
“Today at the park, I peed on a man sitting on the grass. I lifted my leg so quickly my mom couldn’t stop me in time. I’m really not that embarrassed … but she was!” -Claude
Claude is a greyhound, an ex-racer who has been off the track less than a year. He is wonderful and perfect in almost every way. He is not 100% clear on when and where it is appropriate to mark things (or people, apparently) — today was the first time he peed on a person! He must have mistaken the gentleman for a tree or a shrub. Awkward.
Editor’s Note: My papa’s name is Claude, so this makes it just that much better!
Reverse Dog Shaming Contest: Maddie
Maddie the HERO!! Maddie is a 10 year old Lab who is trained as a TOUCH dog. She visits patients receiving chemotherapy at a local Cancer Care Center and spreads her canine cheer…. She is recent cancer survivor as well (notice the scar above her eye)!
