Rajesh is a 2.25 lb service dogs for my cardiac condition. He broke a small bone in his foot working almost a month ago. Rajesh kept his first cast on for 13 days without incident. Then he kept his second cast on 10 days without incident. On Saturday, he was recast and took it off on Sunday. Recast Monday morning and taken off Tuesday afternoon. Recast Tuesday afternoon and off Tuesday evening. I give up!
Ring Bearer
I’m a Proposal Accomplice. (not ashamed, just happy)
Lady was proud to give her dad some help and use her cute puppy-dog face to ensure her mom said “yes”.
It worked.
I pooped on the stairs
The day after I discover dogshaming.com, we come home to find this…
Little Lola keeps getting snuck human food by the grandparents and her little tummy just can’t take it.
Because toilet water tastes better then fresh water…..
Her drink of choice is toilet water, because the bucket and bowl of fresh water simply aren’t to her palate. This is her face after being caught ‘wet pawed’ for the first time. The sign reads ‘ The dog (she shall not be named) drinks from the toilet… PLEASE PUT THE LID DOWN’
Stop mowing the lawn…
This is Indie. He’s a 5 or 6-year-old mixed breed who hates lawn mowers, vacuum cleaners and hair dryers. And leaf blowers. But otherwise, he’s super sweet and we love him.
Money Hungry
I actually PAY mom to pick up my poop (with her own money, of course).
my ways.
The dollar located beneath Pierre and his brother Gomez was picked out of Pierre’s afternoon poop today. It was painstakingly reconstructed (using gloves, of course) to make sure the only casualty was Washington, and not Benjamin Franklin. Otherwise, we would all be skipping dinner tonight.
Adoptable Fridays – Zeus
Zeus says “I can destroy a pee pad in less than 2 mins, while my sister barks at me. I’m a little shamed of myself.”
Zeus (the puppy on the right) is available for adoption by Blue Ridge Boxer Group in North Carolina (cross-state adoption available for VA and SC). Zeus will be ready for adoption in 2 more weeks after his 2nd series of shots. He is a boxer/lab mix with the cutest little web feet you have ever seen. His sister Kersee also pictured has already been adopted. I think his pee pad destruction is Zeus’s way of telling me he is a big boy now and doesn’t need pee pads anymore. Zeus is 9 weeks old and actually hasn’t had one accident in the house in almost 5 days. He does love to pick up a pee pad and run around the house with it while his lil sister watches and barks. But he is the Mighty Zeus!!
Adoptable Fridays – Penny
I foster for Save-a-Bull Rescue of Minnesota. I occasionally bring my fosters to the office with me to visit new people and get accustomed to new environments and situations. This is Penny, she’s a 9 week old pit/lab/border collie mix. This was her second trip to the office and she already feels comfortable enough to go ahead and pee on my co-workers desk as soon as we walked in the door. It’s a good thing we’re all dog people!
Adoptable Fridays – Vixie
Vixie is a 10-year old Shiba Inu available through the Shiba Inu Rescue of Texas – she unfortunately came to us with a skin rash that she kept itching so we have to keep her in a shirt to prevent her from losing too much hair. We’ve also helped her lose over 5 pounds and her playful spirit is on its rebound. She is just loving life a little bit more each day! Vixie loves her evening walks and a good belly rub.
Adoptable Fridays – Ashton
I am a toy hog! I take my afternoon nap in the toy box, so none of the other chihuahuas can play while I snooze. I am a foster dog with the Animal Rescue Foundation in Mobile, Alabama. I am looking for my forever home and a gigantic toy box filled with the best toys ever! Check me out here!
