If she’s not ready to run when I am, I make her pay for it. Literally.

Reverse Dog Shaming Contest: Milton
This is Milton. Milton’s “forever family” spotted him during his television debut on a show called Posh Pets Rescue—he had been found roaming 145th Street and Lexington Avenue. They met him, loved him, and brought him home. Now his brothers Louis and Russell can’t imagine a time when the little furball didn’t live with them! Milton is part of our Reverse Dog Shaming Contest. If you’d like to participate, feel free to submit your pet here. Order your dogshaming book here!!!
Why can’t my ears fly free?
Sydney is a 10 year old beagle that loves car rides on warm days when she can let her ears fly free in the wind with the window down. On cold days, she finds a way to try to get the same rush. Note: Neither the heat or a/c were on in the car so there was nothing coming out of the vent! Silly dog!!
Reverse Dog Shaming Contest: Dora
This is my dog Dora –previously featured on dogshaming, who I’m now proud to reverse shame.
In March of 2011, after an emergency splenectomy, Dora was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma. The oncologist said that even with chemotherapy, Dora would likely only live 6 months, but we crossed our fingers, and said our prayers, and started her on a low-dose chemo protocol in order to give her the best life possible for as long as we could.
That was 30 months ago. And she’s still her wonderful, hoarding, food stealing, loving and adorable self, so if she wants to defy her diagnosis, I’m happy to reverse-shame her for it.

Duplo man didn’t make it
Molly ate our daughter’s favorite Duplo man. We hope he’s in a better place.
Reverse Dog Shaming Contest: Double Rainbows!
“We will always be happy to see you.” While these two have gotten into their fair share of mischief, one of my favourite things is being greeted by them whenever I get home.
These two un-named dogs are part of our Reverse Dog Shaming Contest. If you’d like to participate, feel free to submit your pet here.

My Cavalier Spaniel, Cooper, can’t control his bladder when he meets new people. As soon as the go to pet him, he just pees everywhere.
Reverse Dog Shaming Contest: Lily
Lily visited Melissa in the hospital one Christmas when Melissa was facing a 30-day hospitalization. The nurses allowed us to bring in Lily to help brighten a difficult Christmas! Lily was just 10 weeks old!

Who’s more ashamed here?
I was caught digging in Mom’s garden. I also chewed the hose that she waters the garden with in half. She can’t water the garden until she buys a new hose.

I hate cats but I love to eat their poop.
