When Diesel was 4 months old he was run over by a car (twice!). Smushed was an understatement! They didn’t think he’d live overnight but now he’s almost 7 years old!! He is mom’s miracle baby. It still brings tears to her eyes to think of that day. He definitely got some gnarly battle scars but he bring so much love and joy to everyone he meets! He needed months of daily vet visits and ICU stays before he was ready to run at the dog park again. He’s a trooper and mom’s furry best friend to say the least!

“I ate a hole in Moms wedding dress 132 days before the wedding. I’m not the least bit sorry”
In the 7 months we’ve had our french bulldog, Guinness, he has pooped on Dad’s bass guitar case, peed on Dad’s brand new cell phone, but the Pièce de résistance was this morning when he chewed a hole in Moms wedding dress. Enough is enough, he needed to be shamed.
Editor’s note: I got in contact with Devan, Guinness’ dog-mom, and she’s happy to report that the dress was repaired fairly quickly and the wedding went off without a hitch, Guinness was even forgiven and allowed to be part of the ceremony! Devan looked absolutely gorgeous! Congrats to the happy couple (and Guinness!).

Reverse Dog Shaming Contest: Scarlett
This is the lovely Scarlett, who was adopted in September of 2005 from the New Hampshire SPCA. She was always really excited and delighted to see babies or kids on our walks, and I always told her someday I would get her a kid of her own. In May of 2008 I did just that, and Scarlett’s human sister Isabel came home. Since then Scar has taken everything an infant/baby/toddler, etc can dish out; this is not just because Isabel is a human vending machine as they obviously love each other a great deal. The way it turned out, the only ones more lucky than Scarlett are the members of her family, because she is the best dog ever.
