Leroy likes to eat anything that hits the floor…dryer sheets, toys, and now Play-doh. The good news is, it’s non-toxic. The bad news is, he had just eaten dinner…

Pug
Daddy interrupted me by reaching down to pet me. Little did he know 🙂
Monkey see, monkey do
The kids and the dog have been playing nicely until this morning when something very inappropriate happened between our lab, Brady, and my children’s latex bouncy donkey; and I only know because my children showed me how Brady was pushing the donkey around.
Jango Unshamed
“I tackle children… And eat their ice cream. -Jango.” Today, Jango tackled a potential new client’s kid and ate an ice cream cone right out of his hand. Needless to say, I didn’t get the job. And Jango doesn’t seem to care one bit. Doesn’t he know where his kibble comes from?
Charlie Panda and the Tattooist’s chair
My Mum’s a tattooist. This was her chair.
Although not eligible for adoptable Fridays, recently adopted Charlie Panda nearly went back to the rescue centre after this stunt (just kidding we love him dearly)
Pup is a little [guinea] piggy!
“I steal the guinea pig’s food at night and eat it secretly.”
She puts her paws up on the table to get the bag and drags it to the living room….
Sadie couldn’t wait; hilarity ensued.
I was taking Sadie outside & she sniffed around our deck. The next thing I knew, she was peeing. All I could hear was the pee running down to our neighbour’s deck. The next thing I heard was our neighbour’s door closing. Uh oh.
Squirrel!!
“I think I’m a squirrel. I are all the peanuts when no one was looking!” Piper is a trouble-maker, eating shoes when left home alone or digging up living room plants. She reached a new low when I came home to a carpet covered in peanut shells, and empty bag, and a guilty face!
Adoptable Fridays – Rythym
Rhythm is a very handsome 5 month old puppy from Red Deer, Alberta. He is being fostered through Hope Lives Here Animal Rescue Society. He is a little shy when he first meets some new people or animals, but warms up very quickly. He’s a relatively high energy puppy and would do well in an active home. Rhythm is a social pup and loves to wrestle and run around with other dogs, spend lots of time with his people, and even tries (with little success) to play with the cat. He will be a medium sized dog, the vet estimates around 30 lbs. For more information, click here.
Adoptable Fridays – Misty
Misty is sweet and loving nine month old Chihuahua mix who needs a forever family! She lives in South Elgin, IL and is being fostered through the Anderson Animal Shelter. Misty is a darling and endearing ten month old little lady. Living in a foster home, with her sister Bianca, the pair spends a lot of time doing what puppies do best, playing! They play with each other, the other dogs in their foster home and any willing participant. Misty is quite petite at six pounds and is on the timid side. When she is not playing, Misty does love to cuddle and would be happy to lie on a soft lap and watch a good movie. For more information on Misty, click here.
