I put my ball under the couch ON PURPOSE then dig for it like a maniac. I have ruined BOTH couches!

Murphy, the dog with a blog!

I’ve eaten too many things! Some include: Baseboards, books, homework, contact lenses, glasses, $40 cash, 3 blackberries, remote controls, underwear, socks, windowsills, lots of cat poop, legos, and boxes of cookies and cakes!
Funny enough, Murphy ate that sign as soon as his owner was done snapping the shot!
I got an email from Murphy’s owner and after telling me her dog was a perfect example of dog shaming, I went to their website and discovered that Murphy loves getting into trouble. Read all about his antics on their facebook page!

Chala the Chihuahua
Posted by & filed under Adoptable Fridays, Hide and seek, Submitted.
“Hi, My name is Chala and I like to hide under blankets and not respond when my foster mom calls my name. It’s funny because she panics and thinks she left me out in the cold Minnesota weather :)”
Chala is a sweet Chihuahua from Waconia, MN. She’s being adopted through Wags and Whiskers Animal Rescue. She has really come out of her shell since being in her foster home. She LOVES belly rubs and getting scratched behind the ears. She warms up to new people very quickly, and likes to tell you when someone is at the door, but as soon as you tell her you see them she’s quiet. She likes playing fetch with tiny tennis balls, and she gets what we call the “zoomies” where she’ll run up to you and go down on her front legs, tail wagging, and when you reach down to get her she takes off running circles around you. I got stuck under the dirty deck and had to be rescued right after my mom had given me a bath and dried me.
Adoptable Fridays – Franny
Posted by & filed under Adoptable Fridays, Hide and seek, Submitted.
Hey everyone, I am Franny and I’m from Fort Lauderdale, FL. I am available for adoption through the Cocker Rescue of Florida. I am a 3 year old rat terrier but I heard people calling me a “velcro dog” whatever that means. I need a forever home with people who appreciate my terrier sassy ways!
Franny is absolutely a delight, she is mellow in the house but always super happy to go for a walk, a jog, or a paddle in the kayak.
She is completely housebroken, good in a leash and will learn tricks for food.
Adoptions South Florida only!
Makeshift Dog Den

I burrow into the laundry and make a little den for myself. This is also fun when the hamper is filled with CLEAN laundry.

Burrowing beagle

Sleeping IN the bed is greater than sleeping ON the bed.
This is Leila. Leila likes to burrow. So much so that one night we woke up at 2:30am to find her head floating amongst a sea of white… she ripped INTO a bed to sleep inside of it. She even created her own head hole so she could stay warm and still breathe. To this day we don’t know how we didn’t hear her doing this in the middle of the night. Clever, stealthy beagle.
Charlie Doesn’t Like When Dad Poops
Posted by & filed under Hide and seek, Submitted.
I try and sneak under the bathroom door to keep my dad company when he is pooping. If I can’t fit my 75 lb body under the door I cry and howl until he’s done.
