That is not what ‘Bird Dog’ Means
Boss let us know one morning…”I need more fiber.” Much to the chagrin of our backyard birds.
For The Birds
“We ate the bread crumbs mom gave the starving birds”
-30 below zero i felt sorry for the birds, while I checked the wood stove the dogs ate the crumbs. I didn’t say a word, I just pointed at where the crumbs were, the dogs wouldn’t give me any eye contact.
Fowl Breath
I eat chicken poop! Mom says my breath is fowl!
Bird feeder eater
I go outside every 10 minutes to eat the birdseed …when there is no birdseed I eat the bird feeder
I hear pollo verde is a delicacy
Oliver is a 25 year old double yellow head amazon parrot who is a lot of fun and very sweet but does have the tendency to ventilate our walls when given the opportunity. Although she is a charming and beautiful companion parrots are not for everyone as they are loud, temperamental and can live just as long or longer then a human. We are her fifth (but hopefully last) home.

My new parents took me in when I had nowhere else to go. I showed my appreciation by eating this wall. Now my daddy says he wants pollo verde for dinner! I am a very naughty bird!
Frisbee is for the Birds
I can jump 5 feet in the air to catch the neighbours chicken in mid flight, but I wont play Frisbee.
PS. The chicken lived.
She’s a Special Snowflake
“I’m Abby. He’s Snowflake. I make him nervous…..I’m not ashamed.”
Snowflake is my pigeon. Abby is my neighbors dog who visits my 2 dogs and cat. My guys have learned to accept Snowflake as a part of the pack. He basically looks down on me and my pack as though we are beneath him. However, when Abby comes over he is a little bit more reserved in his haughtiness.
Needless to say. He’s unsure of Abby’s intentions. She makes him nervous!
Ramona runs afowl
I break open the fridge when no one is home and eat my mother’s pound of ground turkey (3 human dinners worth!)
This is Ramona Quimby, a 3 year old Hunt Terrier. No food is safe from her no matter what kind of container it’s in!
I’m working on my bird-calling technique
This sneaky little Pug – Pixie got into the room where the bird food is kept…
