Our Chocolate Lab Mix Fred has achieved Houdini status by escaping from his wire crate several times. This time he not only escaped but decided to turn my husband’s shirt into a scarf.
“We escaped the yard and made Mom and Dad chase us for almost an hour.”
Redford, the larger beagle (and successfully adopted-out foster dog!) and Noodle, the smaller beagle, decided to escape the back yard and went running through the neighborhood.
Danke is being fostered through the Hamilton Humane Society in Indianapolis, IN. Danke decided to learn some magic tricks while we were gone and escaped from her still locked cage then decided to help up renovate the extra bedroom. Here is more information on Danke.
The first shot is Beckett shortly after grooming … but if there is a mud pit within sprinting distance … she can smell it and soon … so can we!!

My husband and I returned from Kroger and when the dogs didn’t greet us at the door, we started looking everywhere. They were quietly waiting to be released from their trap. The smaller one likes to pull the towels out of our roommate’s bathroom and build nests and was caught in the act. On a side note, he also enjoyed some toilet paper shredding while he was stuck!

I didn’t sneak out of the yard and sneak back in later, you just didn’t see me among all these leaves….. My foster dad still doesn’t know how I get out, it’s my secret!!!
