Taking it past cute and straight into awkward
Our lovely 4 yr old Parson Russell Terrier, Hope, is a cuddle bug. Once she’s comfortable on your lap she will start to slowly lick you in the same spot over & over & over & over. One morning she licked my leg while I was in the shower causing me to scream & fall. We love our lickin’ fool

Let’s “Taco” bout it
Taco is 7 months old and even though he has many yummy things to chew he chose to chew on a laptop battery. He successfully punctured it and had to go to the emergency vet. They gave him barium which he spit out all over me. A tough day for all. Just glad he’s okay!
Eccellente Taste!
When I had the runs, I pooped on my mom’s favorite chair…the one with the silkscreened Italian linen slipcover (that she made herself). The chair was stacked with boxes, but I managed anyway! I’m all better now, thanks!
Rocco and roll
Rocco loves to scent roll. He has to make sure it gets on his collar too. Nasty!
Dietary Indiscretion
“I ate 10% of my body weight in barbecue and sandwich meat and the vet made me vomit it up. (My mom and the vet are vegetarians.)”
Zoe found and ate 2.5 lbs (she only weighs 23 lbs) of sandwich meat, barbecue chicken, beef, and bones when her mom wasn’t looking. It’s a good thing her mom works at a vet’s office! Her mom and the vet are vegetarians so they really loved cleaning up the vomit – all four rounds of it.
Dog Spa
“I gave myself a therapeutic mud bath at the dog park. It felt GREAT!”
Our Havanese, Riley, ran straight for the one spot of mud at the park. He was quite proud if himself!
A new kind of beauty treatment
Every time we go to the dog park, I see Luna, my black and white whippet, sniffing the ground obsessively. She would then stop, bite the grass, and roll around in that spot for about 2 minutes straight. When I noticed that my other 2 dogs would join her in this ritual, I finally went over to see what the heck they were all rolling in. Turns out they were hunting down earthworms and rolling around on top of them until the earthworms were crushed to a pulp.
Gross.
