What do you mean the couch isn’t a chew toy? You should have told me. I’m afraid this time it’s your fault! GATOR

I don’t listen
Beasley only sits here when Daddy is gone. If he hears the garage door open, he quickly moves to an approved resting location. When I tell him to get down, he pretends that he is deaf.
Adoptable Fridays – Darby
I nap gratuitously in my foster mom’s office as she reads up on training deaf dogs, like me! –Darby
Darby is a happy-go-lucky 1 year old boxer mix from Spencer, IN. He’s being fostered through the Owen County Humane Society. He loves chewing on rawhides, hiking, swimming, and playing with his 4-legged foster sister. Darby is deaf, but picking up hand signals fast. So far, he knows sit, stay, down, and come. Comfy Kona
Caption reads, “Mom always laughs at me when I sleep… I’m not sure why.”
Kona, our 10 month old Pitbull/Shepherd mix, always falls asleep in the oddest positions. If she’s not doing some puppy yoga, she’s stretched out on the back of the couch like a cat!
P.S. – She can’t wait for her daddy to come home from Afghanistan!
Too cold outside
I don’t like the cold
Warm weenie
I can’t keep my chiweenie Snookie from sleeping on my laptop. She’s cold natured and I’m assuming it warms her up.
Guide dog shaming
I’m a guide dog in training. If I don’t want to go somewhere I just lie down.

Adoptable Fridays – Drover
Meet Drover, he is our current foster dog. He is a VERY tall 30kg – 35kg Siberian Husky. He lives near Curran City in New South Wales, Australia! He’s available through Arctic Breed Rescue.
He was badly abused by his previous owners, it took him 2 hours to even come up and sniff us when we first met. He has gotten much better and is quite the snuggle bum, however he is still very weary of strangers, but once you have his trust he will take advantage of it. This photo was taken at our ANZAC Day BBQ, he made a new friend, Poor Aaron had numb legs in the first 20mins, but let him sleep on his lap for nearly 2 hours.
Drover is up for adoption as well as many other arctic breeds. For more information about Drover, click here.
Adoptable Fridays – Pierce ADOPTED!!!!
“I have three legs, two different color eyes, and I’m an oversized lap dog. Yet I am NOT ashamed. I am a proud boy looking for a great new home near DC”
Pierce, a blue merle and white Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, from Washington, DC. He is approximately 2 years old and is being adopted through Rural Dog Rescue. We think Pierce was born with 3 legs as we see no sign of injury and he was an owner surrender at a high kill shelter so we can’t imagine anyone spending that kind of money on a pet and then dumping them in a shelter. But don’t let this 3-legged dog fool you – he can run and play with the best of them. He loves all other dogs except Corgis for some reason… He loves everyone he meets and has such a great personality. He is an excellent addition to anyone’s home!

“I HATE the cold (and waking up)!!
In my defense though, it has been consistently below zero temperatures!
