Nala is my 3 year old rescue Golden (from Adopt a Golden in Atlanta). I had mixed up homemade raisin bran muffin batter and was preheating the oven. Left the kitchen for 2 minutes and Nala counter-surfed and ate about 90% of the batter! When I went back in the kitchen the bowl was still sitting on the counter! She must have had her head in it! Called the vet, told them about the raisins, and had to bring her in. Thankfully they made her purge the contents and she was just fine. All is well, but those healthy muffins did cost me big bucks!!
We only went out for an hour, and left Phoenix in the back yard with a yummy fresh bone. When we returned, the screen door had a dog-sized hole in it and there were 12 poppyseed muffins missing from the big ziplock bag. Within an hour, phoenix was gassing us out of the house.
When our owner arrived home, two short hours before our human sister’s birthday party, she discovered we had eaten all 24 birthday cupcakes – brightly coloured wrappers and all.
Chili thought the 21 heart shaped boxes full of chocolates were for him, not my daughter’s third grade class.

It was my birthday and I don’t like cake and asked for a homemade pie. So I enjoyed one slice before it was ripped from the table:
Penelope is a delightful little girl from Detroit/Ann Arbor, MI. She is being fostered through Last day dog rescue. She is just full of life and happiness that she is always ready for fun and loves to play with people. There is no need to ever ask for kisses as she is always ready to pass them out! She is also a huge cuddler! She is on the shorter size and a real joy to be with! She can be picky about her doggie friends but we are working on this. As in all young dogs she needs some basic rules but is a fast learner and really wants to please. She is really good at “sit” and is learning “lay down” and “paw”. She does fine in a crate and rides ok in car but she tries to get in your lap because she just wants to be close to you. For more information, click here.
