Adoptable Fridays – JB (ADOPTED)
JB has been adopted!!
In the four weeks JB has been with us, he’s eaten almost a dozen of my socks (but, unfortunately, that does not mean six pairs) — and none of my husband’s. But he’s damn cute, hugely loving, and totally adoptable through Last Hope K9 Rescue in Boston, MA!
JB has been adopted!!
Adoptable Fridays – Ramona
I’m not going to lie or be shamed… belly rubs are amazing!
My name is Ramona. I live in Manhattan Beach, CA and am being fostered through Noah’s Bark. I was named for the freeway off-ramp I was found by. I was lucky some nice people stopped to save me when they saw me eating roadkill on the freeway.
I am being housebroken and crate trained and doing very well. I am learning what it is like to be loved and cared for and I love my life now. I am a happy fun girl once I know I am safe. Oh and belly rubs are the best! I weigh about 7 pounds but all my bones are sticking out so I need to gain some weight. I will be spayed when I have gained some weight. I love other dogs and kitties too, I even met some horses, they are not too scary, I am a very brave girl. Please adopt Ramona and give her the great life every dog deserves, she will be forever grateful, she knows the dark side of life. Here is her profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Barks
I’m sorry I wiped my poopy butt on your white couch. — Love me anyway?
Barks is an 8-year old beagle looking for a home and lives in Newfoundland, Canada. Aside for the accidental butt wipe, he’s a great dog and is looking for a home with no children. Here is Barks’ profile. If you would like to adopt Barks or are looking for a beagle to love, please check out Beagle Paws’ website.
Adoptable Fridays – Sonja
Sonja is a wonderful 4 year old pitty mix from NYC. Her foster parents are amazing individuals who care for Sonja without any help from a rescue organization. Here’s their facebook page for her. She was dumped at the Staten Island ACC by her original owners. Sonja was saved from the shelter by a shelter animal advocate and has been in our care for a year now. She is healthy, spayed, up to date on all her shots and house-broken. She is a super smart pup who knows all her basic commands as well as some tricks!
This super affectionate pup is looking for an active family or individual who will take her on fun hikes through the park, play with her, give her tons of belly rubs (she loooooves belly rubs) and, of course, love her. She would do best as the only pet or with another, smaller, chill pup and with older kids since she can be a bit jumpy when she’s reaaaally excited.
Adoptable Fridays – Sunny
Sunny likes to take all the pet beds away from his foster sisters. He is being fostered from Lucky Dog Rescue in Houston, TX. He has a secret plan to take over the world one bed at a time. Sunny is a small Shepherd/Lab mix, approximately 1 year old, and weighs 30 lbs. He is extremely friendly and loves other dogs, cats, and children of all ages. Sunny is housebroken, crate trained, and knows his commands. This very handsome and special guy deserves a home for the holidays.
Adoptable Fridays – Walter
I’m not ashamed – I love dressing up!
Walter is being fostered through Noah’s Bark in Manhattan Beach, CA. Walter was turned in as a stray at the local shelter…funny thing is, his nails were so overgrown and he was so stiff from arthritis that he had trouble walking, much less straying! So one of our fosters brought him home, got his nails trimmed, got him to the vet and on medications for his stiff joints and skin infection and started fattening him up! He is such a mellow guy…he is very happy laying on his big comfy pillow and lets you know when he needs to use the restroom…
Here is his profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Joanie
Joanie is being fostered thru Midwest BREW, in Wadsworth, IL. She will be available after her heartworm treatment. “I am so active my foster brothers ignore me and mom says I don’t act my age. Joanie is a 9 year old spayed female beagle who acts half her age.” She is usually always playing. She was sleeping in this picture because she is heartworm positive, and received her first treatment today, so she is a little sore. She is great in a kennel, and is housetrained 100%.
Adoptable Fridays – Harley
I have a tough name, but I’m really a softie!
Harley is being fostered through Noah’s Bark in Manhattan Beach, CA. Harley is a beautiful girl with an ugly, all to common story. She was used as a breeder dog by an illegal puppy mill, forced to have litter after litter after litter. Fast forward several months….Harley is now safe and healthy and happy in her foster home! She has put on weight and is toned from her five mile hikes and runs daily. She lives in a busy household with other dogs, adults, and small children and gets along with all of them. She will always have that maternal instinct and loves to “mother” puppies when she sees them. She will make a wonderful family dog and so deserves to continue to enjoy what a dog’s life should be! Harley is about 3-4 years old, is house trained, crate trained and leash trained.
Here is her profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Ace
Ace is a 9 mth old Great Dane-Husky mix that is up for adoption at the Etobicoke Humane Society.
Ace is going to be a big boy – he is 90 lbs already! But every ounce of it is gentle love. He is also a people dog, keen on lavishing endless kisses on visitors. Although Ace already knows some commands such as sit and paw, like any puppy would benefit by attending basic obedience classes.
Due to his size, the new home for Ace should be a house with a fenced yard and would require a good dose of daily exercise to remain healthy and happy.
Like many Huskies, Ace can also be quite vocal and talkative.
