Gadget is our foster dog from AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport in De Soto, IA. He had a pretty rough start in life and we want to try to wipe the slate clean and start over. Gadget’s Foster Mom refers to him as the Matthew McConaughey of dogs because he is blonde, scruffy and very charming. Gadget is also a true terrier, friendly and bouncy and tons of fun. He loves to run and play outside with other dogs, and has an amazingly high vertical jump. Gadget would love a home with a fenced yard. Preferably with a 6ft privacy fence!

Adoptable Friday – Jessica ADOPTED!!!!
Jessica is a sweet one and a half year old Corgi/Terrier mix from Arlington, VA. She’s up for adoption through Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation. Jessica loves giving kisses. In fact, she doesn’t ever want to stop. She is a cuddly lap dog with a gorgeous golden coat. She is good with dogs and cats and very very sweet. She is cratetrained, quiet, and well-behaved in the house. She is food-motivated, a quick learner, and eager to please. She would prefer a relatively calm and quiet home environment. She would make a great companion to an existing dog. Are you looking for a dog with the gorgeous coat of a golden retriever and the size and temperament of a lapdog? Then come meet Miss Jessica! Here is her profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Stubbs got adopted!
Stubbs outside his foster mom’s house with his new people! He was on adoptable Fridays back in December, and now he has a new home thanks to Dogshaming!
Adoptable Fridays – Bella
Bella is an adoptable pit bull located at Response-a-Bull Rescue in Wilmington, DE. She is almost two years old and a big love bug with a goofy side that is sure to make you smile. Bella is an energetic girl who adores kids, loves car rides and snuggling, and plays well with male dogs. She would do great with an active family who would take her for runs, hikes, or even just play Frisbee in the back yard. Her current foster family is willing to dog sit for her forever family whenever needed! Pretty cool deal huh? If you’d like more information about Bella, click here.

Adoptable Fridays – Midge ADOPTED!!
Weighing in at just under 7 pounds, Midge is a miniature dachshund with a maximum personality! She is being fostered by Bald is Beautiful Dog Rescue in Greenville, SC. Midge is young (under two), and a great little dog. She’s sweet, sassy, smart, spunky, snuggly…. and those are just the S’s! Sometimes she tries to boss around her foster brothers, who are twice her size, and even the cats, also bigger than her! She has no follow-through, though, and they find her very easy to put in her place. Which most often ends up being in a soft dog bed or a warm lap, under a blanket and in the dark. We would like to see Midge adopted into a home with another dog for companionship, or where people are home most of the time.
For more info, check out Midge’s profile here.
Adoptable Fridays – Bea
My name is Bea. I live in Albuquerque, NM and my Albuquerque Animal Welfare number is A1060750. If you are in Albuquerque, call 311; if you are outside of the city, call (505) 768-1975. I am sweet, full of energy, and I love to run around like a puppy even though I am seven.
I like to sleep in the bed with my people, I love car rides and biscuits> I like other dogs, and some cats. Kids are great but I’m probably not great around babies. I’d love a family with a big yard and lots of love. I am housetrained and I know basic commands.
Adoptable Fridays – Lola
It’s not her fault she gets carsick, and she’s very sorry! Lola is a playful 5-month-old German Shepherd mix puppy available for adoption through Street Dog Rescue, in Houston, TX. She is house trained and has never met a person or dog she didn’t like. She loves to wrestle and run with her foster brother and sister dogs and then roll over for belly rubs! Lola would be a great addition to any family. Can you give this sweet girl a home?
Lola’s Petfinder profile is here.
Adoptable Fridays – Gabby ADOPTED!!

This is Gabby. She’s an Australian Cattle Dog mix available for adoption through Grayson County Humane Society in Leitchfield, KY. We’ve been fostering her for a week and she is a sweet dog who loves everyone, even cats! She has a beautiful thick coat and a few weeks of obedience training under her belt. She would love to be with her forever family instead of her foster family.

Adoptable Fridays – Happy
Hi! My name is Happy and I was named for my personality. I am an approximately 3 year old male liver and white pointer and I was dropped off at a shelter in North Carolina where Pointer Rescue Org found me. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. My foster mom thinks that I was an outdoor dog in my former life. I’ve only been living inside a house for a few months but I am learning how to be a house dog very quickly. I still love to be outside and enjoy running around my fenced-in backyard. I’m housebroken and crate trained, although it still takes some coaxing with a treat or a toy to get me to go to my crate when asked. Once I’m inside the crate I quiet down quickly. I’m full of energy and like to run, jump, and play with toys or other dogs. I will definitely need to live in a home that has a fenced in back yard or have owners who like to take long walks, run, bike or hike as I need to expel my pointer energy a lot! I haven’t shown any hint of aggression, even when my older pointer foster brother gets cross with me because I’m too Happy. Due to my prey drive I probably would not be a good friend for a cat. If you would like to learn more about me or adopt me, please contact Pointer Rescue organization or go to pointerrescue.org to fill out an adoption application!
Happy is located in New York, but as a national group we can arrange transport to approved adopters across the US (and parts of Canada).
