I’m a sweet Black and Tan long hair mini dachshund, named Baby Sweet Pea. I am 4 years old and I weigh 6.4 pounds. I live in San Antonio, TX and am being fostered through Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas. As you can see, I love toys and my foster mom says I am really soft and cuddly. I get along we’ll with other dogs, I play like a puppy with my 7 month old foster sister (also a mini dachshund.) I love to sleep in the big bed with foster mom and pack, but I am crate trained. I am also house trained and know how to use the doggie door. Please check me out here, as I am looking for my forever home!

Adoptable Fridays – Kraut
“I pick out the same Lambchop plush evertime, then slowly, over the course of I month, I chew apart from back to front.”
Kraut is about 7 years old and is being adopted through the Southern Animal Foundation in New Orleans, LA. He prefers to be on the floor rather than on the couch or bed but will climb up if you coax him. Kraut weighs between 35 and 40 pounds and is neutered, he is about to begin heart worm treatment. He is great with dogs and cats and is still very playful, but is gentle and knows when to settle down.
Adoptable Fridays – Nora
Nora is a German Shepherd/Hound mix who is available for adoption through the A.D.O.P.T. program in central Texas. Nora has passed basic obedience and is currently in intermediate training. She loves water, jogging beside a bicycle or runner, and should NOT be in a home with cats. Nora is completely crate-trained and house-trained. She loves chew toys and is a healthy, spayed girl about three years old. She has her own facebook page full of training updates, pictures, and stories about her daily life. Adoptable Fridays – Brandy
My foster mom is afraid I’ll fly away with a strong wind because my ears are so big!
She also says that this is the best pic she could get after multiple attempts because i”m only 5 months old and full of beans.
My name is Brandy and I am a shepherd mix and I’m being fostered through The Dog Rescuers Inc. in Oakville, Ontario. I am looking for a home where I can be loved and feel safe and secure. I would love to take positive reinforcement training classes so I can learn new things. I play really nicely with the two other dogs in the house. I LOVE cats too!
Brandy is a wonderful pup. She loves to play indoors and out and settles in nicely for quiet time.
She loves being a shadow to people.
Adoptable Fridays – Tracker
Tracker is an adoptable lemon and white foxhound. He came from North Carolina in extremely rough shape. He is currently located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He has flourished into a handsome, spoiled prince who is waiting for his forever home! He is dog and cat friendly but is fearful of children. He is being fostered through Gentle Jake’s Coonhound Rescue.
Adoptable Fridays – Louie
Louie is 4 to 5 years old, living in Enterprise, AB. He’s being adopted through Alabama Pug Rescue and Adoption, Inc.
Making insulin? Louie the pug ain’t got time for that! This beautiful boy came to the rescue with severe untreated diabetes which had resulted in cataracts, rendering him blind. Surgery restored his sight and now he’s enjoying a new lease on life! Louie requires medication and a special diet for his diabetes, as well as thryoid medication, and his gorgeous brown eyes need drops every day, but he is a happy and loving dog who’s ready for his forever home. He is crate-trained and housebroken.
Adoptable Fridays – Dobby Adopted!!!!
This will be Dobby’s second time on DogShaming adoptable Fridays.
Dobby is a miniature greyhound/daschund mix from Lubbock, TX. He’s being adopted through the Humane Society of West Texas. This adorable boy looks just like Dobby from Harry Potter when he is sad. We haven’t had a single inquiry on Dobby since he became our foster baby a few months ago. He is unable to go to pet adoption events each week because he gets so freaked out by all the people and noise that he backs into a corner and growls at anyone that comes near. Everyone misses out on his truly charming personality. Once he gets to know someone one on one he is the sweetest lapdog ever. He loves to snuggle under the covers and is a perfect nap buddy. He gets along great with other dogs, and doesn’t seem to mind cats, although he doesn’t currently live with any. His foster mom takes him to work everyday, and he lovers to ride in the car. He has made huge strides with socialization to other people and is doing great on a leash. He still has issues with men he does not know, however, and should not be adopted into a home with children. He can become fear aggressive when cornered. With people he trusts he is incredibly affectionate and a joy to be around. His info can be found here.
