Tenny is a 20 lb blue Heeler/jack Russell terrier mix. Her big brother is 140lb Great Dane/black lab mix. He has lost weight since we got Tenny. We know why…she steals his food!

Actualla, Tenny is a RED heeler mix — which expains why she is red and not blue! My red heeler steals the cat’s food, and anything else she can get her chompers on!

Ha, ha…my Blue Heeler Mix only ever eats half of her food. Just goes to show you how different their personalities can be.

With my first red heeler, I could put the food for the whole day in her dish in the morning and she would eat only what she wanted and leave the rest. The second one inhales everything. It took us a while to adjust to having to portion out the food, otherwise we’d have had a blimp.

OMG! My heeler/fox terrier mix did the same thing to my APBT/greyhound mix. It wasn’t until Jasper started losing weight that I realized why Georgie was gaining weight despite being on low-cal kibble.
