My 1st akita did the same thing. I came home to water running down the stairs and my 100 pound baby, who gathered all his toys, his dishes and his bag of food, sitting in the bath tub waiting to be rescued.
No it is not a remorseful look. He has the “Sad Dog” face down pat.
I had a Lab for 12 years and he used the same face every time he got in trouble or thought he was in trouble.

Dog = giant storm damage. Good thing that he is so cute!

aww, I’m a sucker for a cute yellow Lab. Hope he got to swim while he had the chance.

Of course he got to swim in it. He must have done the dog paddle all day long before mom and dad got home.
Its definitely a Lab thing.

That might be one of the funniest dog stories ever heard!

Eh, he IS a lab, after all 😉

He does look pretty remorseful though – what a sweet face.
