I always wonder if it is the filling (foam) itself. Maybe cedar shavings or the like? One of my dogs “kills” stuffies, squeeker or not, and I wonder if the material gives off an odor that entices them. One of these days I’ll take my own advice and refill a “dead” one with some natural filler.

Just save all the foam and stuff it in a new bed. They are pretty easy to sew up. I have to make new dog beds a lot!

I think it’s the foam, too. but think it squeaks, and the dog attacks like a toy. Maybe three’s a charm, and the next one will work out?
