There is a product called “Skunk-Off” that we got from our vet that took the smell away almost immediately. There is a shampoo for the animal and another type for things they might have one into contact with like the collar or furniture. It works great; the last time our dog was sprayed, we bathed her and couldn’t even smell it that evening. And, the smell didn’t linger if she got wet. I highly recommend it!

It took 3 skunkings for our dog to learn to run the other way when he saw one! This little doggie will figure it out one day.
