If Hank is a senior dog and this is new behavior, maybe he should be checked for diabetes. My elderly Pug started peeing in the house (which he had never done before), and it turned out to be diabetes.

Limit his area until he once again is house broke. Restrict him from your daughters room. That how to correct the problem without scolding or spanking, if it is a behavior problem. Make sure he is getting his time with mom and dad . Plus you all spend family time together.
