Buy the cheapest hairspray you can find (they have a higher alcohol content) and spray it on the ink. It will most certainly take more than one application, but eventually it will come out.

I used Spot Shot spray cleaner when my Buddy ate a blue ink pen on my white carpet. It took several cans of spray and a lot of bar towels to get the ink up, it was a big stain!, but it came up.
Spot Shot saved Buddy’s life. ; )
