The dog ate my report card once. Mom wrote a note explaining what happened – and they sent me home to tell her, they didn’t believe it. Mom was so mad, she used an entire roll of Scotch tape putting it back together (minus a few small pieces) and took it in herself – my 4th grade ears where not invited to that meeting.
