Thank you for giving me a great belly laugh to start the day. It’s imagining the “horrible sucking sounds”. Having listened to said sounds for many years, I laughed and laughed.
PS Can dad get up with your daughter? Isn’t that what pumping’s for? ๐
Ha! My rescue dog is also named Bear. He is 10 years old and he sleeps on the bed and snores too! ๐ I actually find it reassuring… it’s more disturbing when he STOPS snoring and leaps off the bed to bark at bumps in the night, real or imagined! ๐
We had a dog when I was young who could sometimes drown out the TV with his “sucking” grooming sounds. It was actually when he got older. But he too was awesome so it was ok
My dog sleeps in the master bedroom. She has her own bed and isn’t allowed on the human bed. (She’s pretty tall and would occupy half the bed. Doesn’t help that she likes to sleep on her back.) Sometimes she snores lightly. Other times, she’ll talk in her sleep. I laugh every time she does this.
I wish my Boston Terrier only made sucking SOUNDS! She only weighs 20 lbs and sleeps under the covers with me. I dread hearing the grooming sounds, because it also means a wet spot in the sheets! Ugh! (I never catch her grooming herself any other time.)

Aww…he’s trying to live up to his name. Great pic! Hope he has many more years of happy snoring.
