I set my bowl down on the coffee table to go relieve myself. I returned to see Archie sitting innocently where I left him, but part of the bowl had been licked clean, and there was a carrot on the table. Suspicions arose.

LOL, don’t you love it how they return to their spot and try to look all innocent? I had a cat who did the same thing. The minute he heard the toilet flush, he’d return to his bed and pretend to be sound asleep again. Very clever and sneaky.

My beagle did the same. My quarter chicken and chips became just chips. Except she got sprung mid chew by me. She felt ashamed and guilty.
