It is not the dogs but the walkers and sitters. They must not know how to handle or control high energy dogs. Working with a certified trainer will help with knowing what to do. High energy dogs require a lot of work and exercise. I know bc I help foster dogs through a rescue. My first foster was a black lab mixed with newfie. Very high energy. The dogs in the picture look like working dogs and need constant stimulation. Hope this helps.

Sitter/walker obviously unqualified. Am I the only one that sees the halo over their heads?

Springers need a well qualified sitter / walker. I have 2 springers of my own and they can be a hard to handle breed. Those angel sad puppy eyes say it all!

I have had springers for over 20 years … and as others have said … they are a working breed, full of energy and need to burn that energy off! These two are gorgeous and I am sure that their halos NEVER tarnish!!!

If you do sitting for living sometimes it can just be too much to have dogs who are jerks. They did the right thing by not sitting for them if they couldn’t handle them. Plus 3? I’m thinking it may have something to do with the dogs. Sorry!

If a Springer knows they can “control” their person, they will totally take advantage whenever possible! Since this is the 3rd sitter, maybe you can try hiring applicants who have experience with the Springer breed or maybe even a trainer tg at dog sits on the side? Hope it works out…I couldn’t stop looking at the punk rock hair doo lol love it
