“I sprint wildly around the house at exactly 5am EVERY morning. My mom no longer needs an alarm clock.” Soon after we brought Lupa home from the shelter, she started a daily ritual of sprinting at full speed throughout the house, mostly right before meal times. She especially likes to performs for us in the early morning. She knows she’s entertaining… she’s not even close to ashamed!!

My cat does the same thing around 5:15 am! It’s great on weekdays, but not so much on weekends.

Looks like she is sticking her tongue out at the sign.

And then like my dog (who doesn’t sprint but makes a lot noise), I bet the cat goes back to sleep once you are awake and “have performed your duties”.

My chihuahua will scratch at you at 6:00 am until you wake up and that’s not all he will make you take him out even if he doesn’t need to go. And when you return if you don’t give him a treat he won’t let you back in bed.
