Chili thought the 21 heart shaped boxes full of chocolates were for him, not my daughter’s third grade class.
Editor’s note: On this wonderful day of love, let’s show a little extra love and care to our furry friends. Let’s make sure we keep them away from our lovely flowers and chocolates because they could be potentially toxic to them. If you think your pet has ingested something dangerous, please contact your vet immediately.

Nothing like a trip to the vet to round out your Valentines day!
Sarah
It would take over three pounds of milk chocolate (like what’s pictured) to even make a dent in a dog that size. If it was baking chocolate or dark chocolate that would be a whole other story. (So for all those who think any amount of chocolate is toxic to a dog, it’s not. It depends on the amount and what kind. Theobromine is the chemical that causes bad reactions and the levels vary on how much chocolate liquor/cocoa solids are in the product.)

He looks irritated that you caught him before he could eat all the boxes!
Melissa
Well, to be fair – the boxes have Snoopy on them.

Good point.
