We had the sweetest mini-schnauzer and, bless her little heart, only had 3 teeth (rescue dog). She managed to shred a school library paperback book. Luckily it was still in print so easy replacement.

A friend’s lab was very particular in what she shredded. Turned out that particularly cheesy sci fi paperbacks are bound with a particularly cheap binding glue that she loves.

My bunny did this a lot as well. We called him a voracious reader. Somehow i think swallowing the words helped his intellectual enjoyment.
