Left the apartment for 20 minutes to go to the gym, and came back to this.

Buster the earplug swiper
“I steal earplugs. And eat them. And the doggie daycare sends home a note on my report card saying how many I pooped.” This wise guy so deserved this shaming. He usually shows no shame, tossing the earplug around like a cat with a mouse, rolling on it, and taunting us by trying to get us to chase him to get the earplug back.
Mail Eater
“I eat packages. No one told me it was a federal offence!”
Scout jut isn’t patient enough to wait for us to see what’s in the package!
Logan smells bad at both ends!
Hi, i’m Logan and I’m a fart machine. I’m so stinky that my parents lock me outside the room at night, because I stunk up the room of a foul odor.
Dog Shaming, the book. Deconstructed.
Here at the dogshaming household, we received a few advanced copies of the book!
How long do you think it took for him to destroy it? Click through to see!!
Adoptable Fridays – Daisy
“I let them dress me up in silly outfits and take embarrassing photos of me. They say it will help me find a home. I’m so ashamed.”
Sweet, tolerant Daisy has been looking for a home for several months. She’s available from Humane Society Silicon Valley in Milpitas, CA. To help her get more exposure, she’s started modeling different outfits on our twitter feed. While she’s always a good sport, she rues the loss of her dignity. Daisy is eleven and a very active senior. She’s housebroken and good with kids, knows a host of cute tricks but would prefer to be an only dog. She’s definitely a staff and volunteer favorite – she helps out with the kids in our Education programs sometimes – but she really deserves a home of her own.
Adoptable Fridays – Cooper
Cooper is our two year old foster dog. He is a hoarder. We can look past it though because he doesn’t chew up any of it…just collects it! Cooper is from No Dog Left Behind Rescue in Brooklyn Centre, MN. Cooper is a fun, quirky little cuddle bug. He likes to be next to or on whoever is willing to give him some love. He enjoys being picked up and held. While he can initially be a little timid, once he warms up he is a happy fun-loving dog. He loves to be outside playing with other dogs or just walking around the yard. Cooper loves rawhides, and anything else he can put in his “nest.” He is happy in his crate, but good when outside of it. He is house-trained and works very well with a schedule that changes slightly from day to day. Click here to view his profile.
Adoptable Fridays – Leo
Little 9 pound Leo is the ultimate playmate! Big dogs, small dogs, kids of all shapes and size will find him ready to play anytime! He is available through A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue & Fixin’) in Cookeville, TN.
Leo’s favourite game is pushing his 60 pound foster sister off Momma’s bed. He has a high energy level, and needs a home where he will have lots of play and exercise. Don’t be fooled by his small size, this happy boy makes a great walking companion, and is ready to curl up beside you while you read or watch tv. He would be a great addition to a young family or an adoring companion to an active retiree.
Please help him find his forever family. You can learn more about Leo here.
Leo is currently fostered in Cookeville, TN but transport is available to the Northeast and Chicago areas!
Beware of Dog
Years ago (before I even had a dog), my roommate put a post-it on my door that said, “Beware of Dog”. Cooper saw the post-it this weekend and I guess he thought it was about him. I found the post-it in his mouth. When I asked him what happened he responded with, “But Ma! I didn’t like what it was implying. So I ate it!”
Maggie Hates Dancing Humans
Maggie, our puppy mill rescue, absolutely hates it when anyone makes any gesture that resembles dancing. This includes arm waving, hands clapping happily, or feet or legs moving in a dance like motion. She responds by yelling at us with her most annoyed bark possible. We live in a modern version of the movie Footloose with Maggie as the pastor.
