Whack!
I’m SeraFrances. I slap people in the face to get them to pet me.
Melvin needs his morning jolt
My name is Melvin and I am addicted to my Mommy’s coffee! I can’t stop!
Editor’s note: As cute as Melvin looks drinking his morning cuppa joe, caffeine is dangerously toxic for pets. Maybe Melvin could benefit from switching to chamomile or mint tea? Both are caffeine-free and, in small doses, can benefit dogs who are nervous or have upset tummies!

Adoptable Fridays – Cleo
This is Cleo. She LOVES to be carried about in a tote bag. Don’t be fooled though, she is all Jack Russell and full bubbling energy. Great with children and the ball but dominant with other dogs and prefers a submissive dog as a housemate. Cleo is a stunning 3 year old female Jack Russell Terrier from Los angeles, CA. She’s being adopted through Russell Rescue Inc. She is waiting to become a wonderful companion to one very lucky family! Cleo is attentive and affectionate and is very much a people person. She is outgoing and confident, and full of life. Cleo loves walks and playtime but she also just loves spending time with her people. Adoptable Fridays – Gumball, the bunny
“I think I’m a bunny… when we’re not sharing veggies, I steal rabbit pellets and hay!”
We recently started fostering a young bunny named Gumball until he finds his fur-ever home. Our Pomeranian, Ricky, thinks he’s a bunny now, too; he steals rabbit pellets and hay and climbs into the bunny condo when he thinks we’re not looking.
Gumball is a sweet and affectionate bun in the Greater Toronto Area. If you’re interested in adopting him, please visit his Facebook page or Rabbit Rescue Inc. for details!
Adoptable Fridays – Cricket
“I use my chunky foster brother to stay warm although he doesn’t like to cuddle with me.”
We have been fostering Cricket, the smaller pug, for about a month. This 3-year old lady was surrendered to Pug Rescue of Austin in Austin, TX. She came in with fur loss and skin problems. The vet has put on her on a special diet since we believe her issues were caused by food allergies. Although she is still missing some fur and has hyperpigmentation, Cricket has drastically improved. She was in this condition for about a year and a half before her previous owners gave her up, so it’ll probably take just as much time to completely recover.
Cricket is also blind from cataracts and has bilateral luxating patellas (basically she looks a little bowl-legged). Despite these things, she has no problem getting around. She is a sweet, easygoing girl and loves people, children and other dogs. Her interests are playing with squeaky toys, being close to her foster brother, cuddling, napping and playing in the backyard.
