Maui, my 5 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, was let outdoors to do his business. While he was outside with his big sister, Kona (the bigger dog in this pic), he found a mud hole and rolled in it. I hadn’t shut the door quite as good as I thought, so Big Sister let Maui in by herself… and then he ran zoomies all over my white carpet.
Naughty corgi!
Carlyn
Kona looks to be equally proud of herself…
Laura
Kona is Chief Instigator… Always 😉
Jenny
Two dogs… white carpet… really? How’s that working?
Laura
A metric crapton of shampooing is involved. I have to whip out the shampooer at least once a week for those two.
Ann
Time to test the claims of all those carpet cleaners who swear they can get out any stain!
Corgi's Rock
No shame n Maui’s game. Love those ears.
george
Yeah…. that’s gonna leave a stain to sure. I actually use Georgia red clay to “stain” earth shirts.
Laura
I caught it as soon as it was done, so luckily it didn’t stain. I still wasn’t pleased, I had shampooed very recently lol.
Millie
How can one get upset at cute little Maui….
Trixie
“running zoomies” is my new favorite phrase
Star Bricker
We have always called it “rip-roaring” and say the dogs are “set on ‘rip-roar’. But you are right, it’s zoomies from now on.

With my pup, Sassy, a lab-heeler mix, it’s called the “butt-tuck run,” because her rear-end tries to run faster than her front in, and her tail ends up tucked under. When you see that tail go down and those eyes go wild, stand clear! 😉

*end, not in.
Toby
You should have ordered the ones with paw prints anyway. Now don’t they look natural!
Maris
I see an area rug in your future. Perhaps Kona can help you pick it out?
Bluebird11
He’s an artist! You could probably cut up the carpet & sell it as a series of non-representational expression paintings.
Kim
We ca it “who put a quater in the dog!” I like zombies.
Suzy
WE also call it “runnin around like yer butt’s on fire” or the “Pugtona 500” b/c we have pugs 🙂
Corgi's Rock
Kona is so cute. No shame on that face. Love the ears. My corgi does zoomies too!
Suzy
Ahhh, the zoomies are always fun (for the dogs, not always for the humans lol)!!
