My dog ate a stick of butter, got pancreatitis and wound up in the local doggie ICU for a few days. 3 grand in bills. That was expensive butter.

Labs love butter – I have a yellow lab too and I have to either keep my butter in the refrigerator or on top! She loves it and will even eat the paper from the butter if I don’t hide it in the trash! Karma does look a little guilty!
