My sister’s Westie once did something similar…. he got up on the table when no one was looking and ate a bunch of spaghetti sauce with meat which had been left in the serving bowl then jumped down. My sister saw him and panicked because she thought he was bleeding from the mouth! She yelled for her husband who caught him and pried his mouth open to see where he was ‘bleeding’ from. Her husband immediately got a whiff of spaghetti breath and figured out what had happened.
