My dog likes ALL socks- dirty or clean. Had to get my boyfriend new socks for Christmas because he had not one complete pair of work socks. It’s a game for him too… he sneaks into the bedroom, steals a sock, SHOWS you he stole it, then runs around while you try to catch him. If it didn’t lead to holes in socks it would be hilarious.

My dog does the same thing! Takes my sock, looks at me until I get up, and then takes off lol

My Lucy steals dirty socks, then brings them to you and lays ’em in your lap. Or your guests’ laps, whoever happens to be handy. It was lovely at Christmas time… I swear she had a stash of them somewhere, and everyone was “gifted” with a dirty sock.
She is not ashamed, either.
